SFF New Staff Spotlight
Join us in welcoming three new staff members to the See Forever Foundation!

Geoff Gilpin, COO, brings over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, marketing, management, advertising and brand strategy, and has acquired his expertise through top leadership positions with some of the nation’s largest companies, including Verizon Communications, Sprint and Ford Motor Company. This extensive leadership experience matched with his unwavering commitment to youth and education will only help us further our mission as we aim to serve even more young people in the District.

Lora Pacht, Executive Assistant, recently received a B.A. in Anthropology from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. With experience in studying racial inequities and the struggles faced by low-income minority students, Lora brings a passion to our organization directly aligned with our mission. Her studies and passion have led her to pursue a career in the nonprofit world, and we are pleased to have her as part of our team.

Chris Roorda, Data Director, comes to See Forever/Maya Angelou with over five years of data management experience in the public school system and invaluable knowledge of data collection/analysis for teachers and administrations aimed at driving improvements in student achievement. In addition, as a former Reading/Language Arts Teacher, Chris is uniquely qualified to provide accurate assessments of student abilities and design developmentally appropriate instruction to meet the needs of all students. We have no doubts that through Chris’ expertise, our students will continue to strive to reach our high expectations.

We are thrilled to welcome these new staff members to our team!  Additionally, as the new school year brings new teachers and staff to our school campuses, we will highlight these new arrivals in future additions of our newsletter. Stay tuned!
