Plans Underway for See Forever Circle of Friends Rooftop Party and Auction
by Anne Schoolcraft, Development Manager

In the coming months, stay tuned for a special opportunity to join the members of the See Forever Foundation’s Circle of Friends for a Rooftop Party and Auction – an exclusive event highlighting the creations of talented SFF and MAPCS students. Whether you find a one-of-a-kind piece of professionally-framed student artwork, or an inspiring poem or work of prose written by one of our students, join us and support our efforts to raise the “friends” and the funds that support our transformative educational program and wraparound services for MAPCS youth.

circle of friendsThe See Forever Foundation’s Circle of Friends Program supports the unique programs that prepare our students for life beyond our campus. While 67% of our funding comes from public charter school funds, the balance is raised from private sources, including corporations, foundations and individuals. Through donations of $1,500 a year for four years, individuals, families, colleagues and other groups of committed donors support wraparound services for Maya Angelou students including counseling, internships, tutoring, enrichment classes, “real-world” exposure opportunities and more.

The Circle of Friends Program provides members with a firsthand look at how their financial support is helping the lives of our students. Supporters also enjoy the unique opportunity to meet and build relationships with classes of students through special activities, updates, cards and participation in school events. For more information on the Circle of Friends Program and our upcoming Rooftop Party and Auction, please contact the See Forever Foundation’s Development Office at DevelopmentDept@seeforever.org.
