Join us for a community event and a National Day of Service at our Evans Campus on September 11, 2010. This event will be a working celebration. We've partnered with Greater DC Cares, sharing in this organization's efforts to promote this important day as a time to remember, serve, engage and rally the community to work together. What's happening?
Attendees will be kept energized with community exhibits, fun activities for kids and, of course, food will be served during a lunchtime celebration. Students from our Evans Campus will also put on a showcase!
How can I volunteer?
Greater DC Cares will set the schedule for the volunteers. Tasks will include painting, repair work, beautification, etc. There's something for all ages and abilities. To register, please visit the Web site of Greater DC Cares at www.greaterdccares.org.
