Our organizational infrastructure is configured to address the specific needs of the See Forever Foundation and the Maya Angelou Schools. Accordingly, our board members have expertise in key fields, including education, community service and nonprofit management, parenting and community engagement, finance, law, communications and corporate governance. There are ad hoc and standing committees of each board who engage in more in-depth organizational planning, support, and operations.

LEAH LAMB, INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Leah Lamb currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for the See Forever Foundation and Maya Angelou Public Charter Schools. In this role, Leah provides thoughtful and strategic oversight of the foundation and schools; organization-wide management and supervision of staff, fiduciary oversight and ongoing strategic direction and leadership for all fundraising, special events, marketing, and communication functions.
Leah is an experienced administrator with over 25 years of non-profit, cultural and educational institution management, resource development, and communications experience. She has held numerous leadership and management positions over the span of her career, which she attributes to igniting her passion, dedication and commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people. She has personally mentored youth and young adult women throughout her life. Leah has provided visionary servant leadership; improved organizational processes and effectiveness; and invested in staff and team development. Her previous positions held include Chief Development Officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington; Senior Vice President for the United Way of New York City and Director for Advancement for the New Jersey Historical Society.
Leah’s professional career and personal commitments include working with community leaders and organizations, schools and universities at the national, state and local levels. Her current and previous affiliations include serving on the following boards: Delta Torch Fund, Clear Channel Communications Local Advisory Board, EnVest Foundation, VGAH Scholarship Fund and St. Matthew NIDA. Leah is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a graduate of Hampton University.
