Accreditation Timeline

  • March 14, 2012 – Webinar for all staff
  • June 5, 2012 – Internal Coordinators meeting (including Jane Pruitt, local rep)
  • June 15, 2012 – Internal Coordinators will meet in Philadelphia for training- Miles and White-Hood
  • June 15, 2012 – All MAPCS committee chairs send Internal Coordinators a copy of their 5 -year action plans to include objectives/goals (this is in draft form)
  • June 5-21, 2012 – Self study survey – All MAPCS staff members to complete (link to be sent by Harold Miles)
  • July 1, 2012 – Final copy of mission, belief statements, and profile of graduate completed by Internal Coordinators and Principals for review by Dr. Murphy
  • Week of Aug 6, 2012 -PD for Accreditation conducted by Miles and Roorda
  • Sept 1, 2012 -Internal Coordinators will send a copy of mission, belief statements, and profile of graduates along with final copy of organization’s action plans to Jane Pruitt (MSA) for review
  • December 1, 2012 -Total accreditation packet is due to Internal Coordinators (including background sections, assessment of Standards and Actions Plan for objectives)
  • Jan. 15, 2013 – Jane Pruitt, Local rep visits (hosted by Internal Coordinators)
  • Feb. 1, 2013 – Total accreditation packet sent to middle states by Internal Coordinators
  • Feb. 1, 2013- Pre visit by MSA chair (hosted by Internal Coordinators)
  • March, 2013 -Accreditation Visitation by MSA
